How to Donate

The GPPD Success Closet recently received several large donations and the closet if FULL! Effective November 20, 2020 at 5 p.m., the Closet will suspend accepting clothing donations until further notice.

On the topic of volunteering, while we would love to connect with volunteers and have them on board, we are delaying volunteer activity until the COVID-19 numbers reduce significantly.

The GPPD Success Closet serves Grand Prairie residents. Specifically, it is targeting young adults to outfit in professional attire, between the ages of 18 and 21, Grand Prairie High school students, or victims of domestic violence.

After a client applies and is accepted into our program, they are paired with our personal brand expert named Myaann Payne MYN Image. The clients will receive one to two outfits initially. If the closet doesn't have clothes that fit the client's needs, money raised from fundraising can be used to help them buy clothes.

Join us to make a difference in someone's life through donations of clothing, either new or gently used, suitable for a professional interview. This includes: men’s and women’s clothing (all sizes), accessories such as ties, belts, new socks/stockings, women’s jewelry, and new or gently worn shoes.

Monetary donations can be made to the Grand Prairie Police Department Success Closet by way of gift cards.
