Join us at the 8TH ANNUAL TARRANT COUNTY Guns and Hoses “Remember the Fallen” Golf Tournament! If you have never played in this tournament, you will not want to miss out!

It is with great honor that the Sergeant Gregory L. Hunter Memorial Foundation and the Grand Prairie Police Department continue their partnership with the Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas, as they present and host the 8th Annual Tarrant County Guns and Hoses “Remember the Fallen” Golf Tournament. This partnership effort brings awareness to Tarrant County for the Guns and Hoses Foundation, while also continuing our tradition of honoring the remembrance, service an sacrifice of Grand Prairie Police Sergeant Gregory L. Hunter, 30-year veteran, who was tragically ambushed and murdered by an armed fugitive at the Grand Prairie Walmart on June 18, 2004, Officer Lyndon F. King, who was struck and killed by drunk driver while working an accident scene on I-30 near the 7th Street overpass on March 1, 1982, Officer Albert J. Castañeda, who was stuck and killed by 17 year-old driver while working traffic enforcement on the President George W. Bush Turnpike on June 7, 2019, Officer Andrew R. MacDonald, who died on October 18, 2021 from complications as a result of contracting COVID-19, and Officer Brandon Tsai, who was killed in a vehicle crash on November 14, 2022, while pursuing a vehicle with a fraudulent temporary tag. We salute and honor all officers and firefighters across our nation who have made the supreme sacrifice.

We will never be able to convey our thanks and appreciation to all who have served and gone before us, while making the ultimate and selfless sacrifice.

Hunter Memorial Foundation and the Guns and Hoses Foundation of North Texas are indebted to show our respect and gratitude to the police officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty. To us, these people are true heroes who deserve to be honored for their work and sacrifice.
