National Night Out

Welcome to National Night Out 2026! This is the 43rd annual National Night Out, a crime prevention event sponsored by the National AssociationNational Night Out Logo 2025.png of Town Watch.

National Night Out will be on October 6, 2026.

This is where residents of Grand Prairie will spend the evening (5-8 p.m.) outside at neighborhood block parties with their neighbors, police officers, firefighters, EMS paramedics, and city officials.

This annual event is a great opportunity for citizens and law enforcement to partner up against crime at block parties throughout the city.

National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
  • Generate support and participation in anti-crime efforts.
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community relations.
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

  • Block Party Locations
