Victim Services

The professional staff of the Grand Prairie Police Department's Victim Services Unit provides crisis intervention, advocacy, and support services to crime victims. Services include emotional support for victims of crime and their families, assistance with safety planning, assistance with Protective Orders, and more. Crisis Response Ministries (CRM)

A faith based victim service organization, CRM has a Grand Prairie Chapter through a partnership between the Grand Prairie Police Department and the Grand Prairie Police Clergy Coalition (GPPACC). The CRM corps of volunteers offers one-on-one support for victims of crime, emergencies and disasters of all kinds. Since 1999, CRM (formerly Victim Relief Ministries) chaplains and crisis responders have responded to over 150 disaster deployments.
